FAQs

How do hair transplants work?

A hair transplant is a medical procedure that adds hair to thinning or balding areas of the scalp, where it continues to grow naturally. As the name implies, hair is transplanted from existing hair follicles to areas that have less hair growth. There are two types of hair transplant techniques: Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT), and Direct Implant Technology (DIT).

Who is our hair transplant surgeon?

We have a team of surgeons who are experts in the field of Direct Implant Technology (DIT) and have successfully completed a remarkable number of surgeries.

Where is Pattrn hair transplant located?

Pattrn hair transplant is currently located in Mumbai, but we will be coming to your city very soon!

Do hair transplants hurt?

The procedure itself is not painful. However, before starting the procedure, the team will administer a local anesthetic to help numb the area where the hair will be removed and transplanted. You may experience a minute or two of discomfort. We go to great lengths to ensure you stay as comfortable as possible. Though hair transplant procedures are generally considered relatively painless, you may experience some soreness on the scalp following the procedure. Your physician can prescribe pain medication to help manage any discomfort.

Is the hair transplant permanent?

DIT procedures performed by Pattrn Hair Transplant are a permanent solution to hair loss. Some individuals may require additional touch-up procedures to maintain desired results over time. Following your procedure, Pattrn will support you with a post-procedure treatment plan, designed to support long-term results.
